Molecular analysis of Fungi: Malasseziarestricta from Felidae

چکیده

A total of 9 samples wild cat Felischausfurax (de Winton, 1898) and 13 (11 positives) domestic Feliscattus (Linnaeus, 1758) belong to Family Felidae. All cats were trapped used hair skin scrapings by forceps surgical blades. The areas the collection were: Mosul province (north Iraq); Baghdad, Al-Rashidiya, Tharthar, Nahrawan, AL-Mahmoudiya (middle Iraq) AL-Haretha (south Iraq). current study revealed that sensitive specific PCR assay allowing rapid reliable identification Malasseziarestricta fragment size amplified was 500bp in ITS1 gene one sample cats. recorded a new strain Malasseziarestrictathat called AF2013 "small subunit ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence; internal transcribed spacer 1", complete 5.8S sequence. Which inserted GenBank: MW376484.1 from for first time Iraq. Sequencing close matching phylogenetic tree an isolate Korea (CP030254). compression performed using NCBI – based nucleotides website. Keywords: Dermatitis, Cutaneous microflora, fungi, Genotype, Malasseziarestricta.

Panthera pardus (Carnivora: Felidae)

Panthera pardus (leopard; Linnaeus, 1758) is the smallest of the 4 large felids in the genus Panthera. A solitary and adaptable species, P. pardus is the widest ranging of all wild felids, inhabiting rain forests, mountains, semiarid environments, and suburban areas throughout sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia to the Russian Far East. Despite this distribution, P. pardus is li...

Molecular Characterization and Comparative Phylogenetic Analysis of Phytases from Fungi with Their Prospective Applications

Plant seeds that have high phytate content are used as animal feed. Phytases, enzymes that catalyze the breakdown of phytate into inorganic phosphorus and myoinositol phosphate derivatives, have been intensively studied in recent years and gained immense attention because of their application in reducing phytate content in animal feed and food for human consumption, thus indirectly lowering env...
